Overseer Jean Dimmock
One of the laborers that the Lord placed in his vineyard was Overseer Jean Dimmock. The Lord commissioned her to form a Bible Study, in the summer of 1982, in Savannah, GA. The group gathered every Monday and Wednesday night.
In February, 1984 the group received an invitation to meet at the home of Bro. and Sis. Alexander Heyward, Sr. The Bible Study continued for the next eight months and during this time souls were saved, healed and delivered. The number of attendees began to steadily increase.
In October 1984, Overseer Dimmock answered the call from the Lord and Harvester Tabernacle came into existence.
Under the leadership of Overseer Jean Dimmock, Harvester Tabernacle purchased a number of properties to be used as a catalyst to fulfill the vision she was given by God.
In 2003, the Lord commission Overseer Dimmock to change the name of the church to BLESSED ASSURANCE MINISTRY. The Lord reminded her that she would have a blessed assurance that He would do exactly what He promised in her vision.
In 2009, Overseer Dimmock decided after many years of service and devoted love as Founder and Pastor, to move to Atlanta, GA. She now serves as the Founder and Overseer of Blessed Assurance Ministry.
